How To Change MAC Address on Linux with macchanger step-by-step

Changing your mac address, it's typically used for making it harder to trace, or bypassing wireless security such as Mac address filtering.
This is a simple process Mac changer comes preinstalled on Kali Linux 2016.1 and can be downloaded using the apt-get install macchanger on Debian or Ubuntu distributions.

There are only two Comanche need to remember and they're listed below.
macchanger -s wlan0
The Command above, shows the current Mac address for Wlan0

macchanger -m 00:11:22:33:44:55 wlan0
The Command above, Spoofs our address with the new address for interface wlan0

Don't forget to run the command, ifconfig wlan0 down before you change your mac address, then don't forget to bring the interface backup using ifconfig wlan0 up
